The second phase of the development of our new offices has now started.

I have recruited an energy conservation specialist to develop and implement a strategy for heating and air conditioning for the office using the latest green renewable energy techniques.  We are likely to employ solar energy, air source heat pumps, high efficiency thermal insulation and energy preserving window coatings. We are aiming for an energy neutral solution that will add a new dimension to our already impressive list of company credentials.

I have also identified the possible date for our grand opening, although I cannot disclose this just yet as I am waiting for our special guest of honour to confirm that they are available to perform the opening ceremony.

On a more mundane level, we have been clearing out the new storage areas in preparation for painting and the installation of our racking.
