Our recruitment policy at GuardHome is employ local people in our various regional offices. This allows us to put something back into the community where we work. Local people have families in the area, send their kids to school, support local events and spend money in local shops. For us this is localism at work, so we are delighted to introduce Darren Hills to our Harlow main office.

Darren joined us on January 5th 2015 as a trainee Security System Installer and Maintainer. He is Harlow born and bred.

After successfully completing his rigorous security vetting process, Darren has spent the past few weeks learning about our products, our business and ethos and of course meeting clients. Darren brings an innate understanding of customer service from his previous roles and has quickly demonstrated his enthusiasm to learn and apply his new skills to his GuardHome responsibilities.

As I write this he is installing a new GuardHome alarm in the family Harlow home to help protect his wife and two young children from burglary and fire and he has achieved this level of competency in an incredibly short period of time.

When not working for GuardHome, Darren likes to spend time with his family and when he is not doing that he likes to bake celebration cakes for his friends and family.  Maybe one day we will see him on the Great British Bake Off?

He is an Arsenal supporter and is a regular visitor to the Emirates to watch them play.
